Script-Fu -> Effects Selection - Selection Glow

This is an adjustable script,
it creates a glow around a selection.

In the example below, I selected the black area, and put a little glow around the girl.... kind of faking a backlight edge.
Script-FU > Effects Selection > Glow Selection
